Toxins

The word ‘toxin’ often has negative connotations, the word refers to anything that our body is unable to digest or get rid of. This includes the natural, biological waste from cells and internal processes in the body, and also waste and bacteria from foods we haven’t been able to digest properly. Usually, our bodies eliminate these waste products perfectly efficiently, but sometimes toxins can build up and we start to see symptoms of them.

Unfortunately, the food and lifestyle industry has leaped on the word ‘toxin’ and it’s often used to refer to something negative and unnatural like added chemicals and pollutants – something to avoid or “get rid of”. However, as we said before these toxins are often leftover organic waste from natural processes in the body, or foods that don’t suit us. These foods and waste can then end up hanging around in our digestive systems causing us problems. For this reason, it might be more helpful to think of toxins simply as ‘residues’ instead.

These toxins or residues can arise from three sources – environmental, cellular waste products and from bacteria in our digestive tract. The physical symptoms include:

  • Gas and bloating – (a sign of fermentation in your gut)
  • Excessive coating on the back of the tongue
  • Bad breath
  • Foul smelling sweat

This can make us feel anxious and scattered, tired and lethargic. Our skin may lack glow, our teeth and eyes ‘grey’. This general lacklustre appearance indicates that the white tissues of the body (which should be a clear translucent fluid) are ‘discoloured’; that our lymphatic system isn’t clear.

How can we eliminate toxins safely?

Some general tips include:

  • taking regular cardiovascular exercise to build up a bit of sweat helps to eliminate toxins through the circulatory pathways.
  • dry brushing massage every day to move the lymphatic system.
  • drinking plenty of fluids helps to flush out lymphatic system and move toxins through the kidney system.
  • eating foods that you can digest completely before the food turns into gas.
  • choosing fibre-rich foods that encourage healthy elimination.
  • eating a diet that is appropriate for our body type so we don’t create stress on any one organ in our system.

A more effective way to eliminate toxins, is to use Norland Detox Pro Pack.

Heart Attack

Heart disease is a very general term used to describe all the different disorders and diseases that can affect your heart and its operation. When it happens, one will experience distressing symptoms such as chest pain and electrical instability of the myocardial tissues.

Heart attack occurs when there's death onecrosis of a segment of
heart muscle due to the loss of blood supply.
The blood supply is usually lost due to blocked coronary artery, one that provideblood to the heart muscle by blood clots. This condition is also known as coronary thrombosis

One of the most common causes is oxygen starvation thi is  usuallthresult of a blockage in the arteries that carry the flow of oxygen-

rich blood from the lungs to the heart.

This condition can lead to hear damage  and  if  left  untreated the damaged  hear will undergo necrosis. In other words, the heart cells will start to die. Often times, this condition is caused by a buildup of a waxsubstance known as plaque.

As plaque builds up inside your arteries, it can result in the coronary (or heart) arteries being partially or totally blocked. This condition is known as atherosclerosis. This will restrict blood flow to your organs and tissues. If this condition is not treated quickly, the areas of the heart that rely on this artery will die. The once healthheart tissues will also undergo fibrosis, forming scars that impede the usual functions of the heart. Sometimessuch condition will go off radar and difficult to be discovered. So if you leave it as it is for a long time, many hearhealth problems will arise in the long-term.

Beauty Skills of a Male Hair Stylist

It however still remains a mystery how men would become better at dressing a woman’s hair—a business that was traditionally female, than women themselves.

WHEN you think hairdressing, you naturally think women and nothing more. But that isn’t the case anymore as more and more young men continue to give female hairstylists a real run for their money.

The Story of a young man popularly known as Dadon is one that is of high inspiration, to encourage youths into acquiring skills that would make their lives more meaningful.

Interestingly, this young  man does not require a luxurious shop to steal the hearts of female customers. With a make-shift salon of simple kind, he is able to compete with those with luxurious shops. Just to stay relevant and earn a living..

His services are fixing of Weavon, braiding of hair, others include short hair style, he also does fixing of nails, and fixing of Eye Lashers, and Wig.

An Interview with the young Man

Skill4Glory: What is your business all about?

Dadon: My Business is all about making people look beautiful, most especially ladies. I do this by working on their hair.

Skill4Glory: Is your location suitable/convenient for your customers?

Dadon: Yes, it is and they are not complaining. I am still looking for a better location that is bigger than my present shop, I hope to grow bigger one day and I know that God will do it.

Skill4Glory: What assistance would you want from Government or Non-Governmental Organization (NGN).

Dadon: My response to that question is that government should assist us considering the fact that we are talented and skilled. The result of my work is a proof that I am not lazy. We have quite a number of youths like me that are talented and skilled. Government and Non-Governmental Organizations should come to our aid.

Skill4Glory: How do the ladies feel allowing a man to make their hair?

Dadon: My female customers feel comfortable having me as their hair stylist. This is because some of them like to show off that their hair was made by a Man. Considering the fact that I take my time to give them the best, without rushing.

Skill4Glory: How did you develop interest in the business?

Dadon: I developed personal interest as a hair stylist through my mother. She was a hair stylist herself and I do follow her to her shop as a kid. My Dad never liked the idea of me becoming hair stylist, he often discouraged me, but latter gave up when he discovered that my passion for it was getting stronger. My Mother gave me her full support, and that gave me the encouragement to push further as a hair stylist.

Skill4Glory: What is your academic background?

Dadon: My academic career is in progress, after SSCE looking forward to further my education as I continue my business. I am also an artist,  I have passion for drawing.

Skill4Glory: As a Nigerian youth how do you classify yourself? Lazy or hard working.

Dadon: I classify myself as hardworking Nigerian youth that is why I am showcasing my talent. Nigerian youths are hardworking and not lazy. We will continue to hustle for a better life with the talent that God has given us. By the Grace of Almighty God in Jesus name we will make it, either here in Nigeria or anywhere abroad with our God given talent.

Skill4Glory: Were you forced into this business, or you developed personal interest in it?

Dadon: I developed Interest in the business through my mother when I was in secondary school. When I was in JS1 I started helping my mother out in the salon. She has apprentices learning from her at the salon, and I used that opportunity to learn as she teaches them. I was never at anytime forced into the business.

If you need any of these services, he is available in Ibadan around Dikat area, along ring road.

Anytime you find yourself in Ibadan and you want to look beautiful, get in touch with him through any of the following numbers; 07055598446, 09078605113.

Give him a try and you will be glad you did.

Let us encourage the Nigerian youths, they are not lazy.

Zoom Meeting Mistakes

Avoid These Zoom Meeting Mistakes

Zoom is a great platform that you can use to grow your business. Unfortunately not everyone uses it right and they end up with Zoom events that do not achieve their goals. In this article we will discuss the most common mistakes that people make with Zoom meetings so that you can avoid them and get the best results.

1. Not Planning your Zoom Event

While it is sometimes OK to just have a one to one Zoom call with someone without any planning, it is a different story if you are scheduling a meeting with a number of participants or a webinar.

You need to decide what you want to achieve with your meetings before you hold them. If you don’t do this then it is very easy to wander all over the place leaving your attendees totally confused.

Make sure that you have all of your materials prepared prior to your Zoom meeting. This includes presentation slides, web pages that you want to use, applications and so on. A good tip is to have web pages and applications already open on your computer so that you can quickly bring them up when you share your screen. Nobody wants to see things loading.

The best Zoom events are always well prepared for. You can practice your event on your own before you go live as well and record this so that you can identify weak areas that need to be addressed. If you fail to plan then you plan to fail.

2. Get rid of Distractions

There is nothing worse than a major distraction in a Zoom event. If you are explaining a complex concept and suddenly your phone rings then you are going to lose your audience. You must do everything that you can to eliminate distractions.

If you are hosting your Zoom event from home then keep your children and your pets away. Screaming kids and barking dogs are not conducive to a good Zoom business meeting. We get it that you love your kids and your pets but they can be a real distraction so do the right thing here.

Check your background prior to launching your Zoom meeting. Does the room you are using look totally cluttered with stuff? If it is then this will distract your audience and they will quickly form a bad opinion of you that you want to avoid at all costs.

3. Be Interactive

Nobody wants to attend an hour long Zoom event where the host just rambles on the whole time. This is very boring for the participants. Make your Zoom events interactive by getting your audience to participate as much as possible.

One of the best ways to do this is to allow them to ask questions which you will answer. You can either have questions and answers at the end of each section (if this is appropriate) or at the end of the meeting. Ask your audience questions as well to test for understanding. Use surveys and polls for even greater interactivity.

4. Not Timing your Zoom Event

The attention span of human beings is getting less and less. Studies have found that people will digest information best in 7 minute chunks so bear this in mind with your events. If you tell your audience that your event will last around an hour then try and stick to this as much as possible.

The Perfect Idea that Can Help You Grow Your Finances Even If the Nigerian Economy is in Recession

This is 2020, many people had plans but COVID happened.

If you are like me, I believe you desire the kind of financial stability that would allow you to live a quiet life but permit you to buy the kind of car you want, own your first home before your mid 30s or 40s, send your kids to the choicest schools, take good care of your parents, get involved in philanthropic activities, etcetera.

But a dream, no matter how good it is would always be faced by challenges especially if you do not know how to go about it.

So I want you to learn from my story... Please read carefully...

After I graduated from university, I could not get employed, and I even faced challenges with getting deployed for NYSC.

I was aimless for so long that I became BROKE.

However, I later decided to employ myself.

I started looking for business opportunities online.

I also started learning skills I could sell online without having to set up a physical store or spend too much capital.

In the process, I found 2 golden opportunities

The first one was a program I came across where I learnt some high demand digital skills.

Using these skills I learnt, I did jobs for my friends and strangers and they paid me for it.

Then some months down the line, I came across a well known perfume brand in Nigeria that allowed me to distribute perfumes for them for a commission. You may have heard about them before; Sapphire Scents. I also earned from it.

From these 2 business experiences, I learnt something that a lot of people do not realise.

I call it "The Perfect Idea" which is this...

"To make money or become wealthy no matter the prevailing conditions in the economy, you must either be selling a PRODUCT or selling a SERVICE."

Identify any notable person out there in our world today,

Is it Bill Gates?

Is it Dangote?

Is it Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook?

They are all selling something.

In the case of Dangote and even myself we sell PRODUCTS.

I sell Sapphire Scent Perfumes. Dangote sells salt, cement and is even about to start refining oil amongst many other things. All these things are products; physical products.

In the case of Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg they sell SERVICES. You can say virtual products.

Both of them built softwares that millions upon millions, even billions of people are using around the world.

So to earn good income or even become wealthy, you must be selling something. Whether it is a PRODUCT or it is a SERVICE.

Between PRODUCTS and SERVICES which one do you prefer?

Let me guide you.

I prefer SERVICES because all that is required is an IDEA and a little capital, maybe like 50,000 Naira to start.

Imagine you want to start a refinery like Dangote. You would need billions of naira to start.

Or even if it is salt, you may need a factory. You would even need NAFDAC approval to start.

But when it comes to SERVICES, it is a different ball game. I heard that Mark Zuckerberg started Facebook with just his laptop, internet connection and some little money and he is a billionaire today.

So back to you,

Which do you prefer?

The choice is up to you.

But before you go, I would like to show you a rare video I recently came across about selling services.

This video reveals a secret method about how you can start selling digital products and services that would easily make you 750K a month even if you are in Nigeria and the economy is in recession.
